What methods of payment do you accept?

Can I pay cash for the hiring of equipment?
Yes, but payments must be made up-front including a refundable deposit subject to term & conditions. Two forms of ID are required Driving Licence / Passport and Utility Bill.
Do you deliver?
Transport (delivery and pick up) is free of charge for orders over £40.00 within a 5-mile radius of SG1 5BD, outside of this radius costs start at £5.00 each way.
How soon can you supply?
As long as the item is in stock, we can usually supply on the same day
Do I need to be at the delivery premises when the equipment arrives?
Yes, we must have a signature for the equipment and be shown the appropriate I.D.

What is PAT Testing?
Portable Appliance Testing, most commonly known through the tool industry as ‘PAT’ testing. This is a term applied to the process used by tool hire and electrical companies to examine electrical equipment and appliances to ensure the product is safe to use.
A large majority of electrical defects are found via a simple visual inspection but others can only be detected via testing. It is important to understand that a visual inspection of the item is part of the PAT testing as some issues cannot be found through testing alone.
Is there loan equipment available to use why my item is being fixed?
Yes, we do certain items of equipment available to loan subject to availability, but an up-front refundable deposit is required subject to term & conditions. Two form of current ID are required Driving Licence / Passport and Utility Bill.
Does the loan equipment have to have Damage Waiver?
No, it is your responsibility to ensure that the equipment is insured.
Is the loan equipment insured for theft?
No, it is your responsibility to ensure that the equipment is insured.
Is the loan equipment supplied with fuel in?
Yes, all our equipment is supplied with a full tank of fuel & is required to be returned with a full tank of fuel, charges will be applied if equipment requires fuelling this will be deducted from the refundable deposit. Is a fuel
Can we supplied for fuelled equipment?
No, but a fuel can be supplied with fuel at an extra charge.
What is the condition of the loan equipment?
We supply modern and well-maintained equipment. All equipment is tested before each loan and comes with a 'test certificate'.
What size diamond blades sell?
At Stevenage Tool Repairs we offer wide range diamond cutting blades but our 3 most common sizes in diameter are 115mm, 230mm and 300mm. Please check our online store for availability.
